Youngest team stand out - saving our seas - in young enterprise SE England finals

Claremont Fan Court School’s Year 10 young enterprise team, Save Our Seas, have enjoyed a brilliant year developing and promoting their innovative reusable sandwich wraps. Their product, developed as an alternative to single use plastic food wraps, saw the budding entrepreneurs through to the regional finals, having already been crowned Surrey winners in May.

The team impressed judges at the SE England finals, receiving praise for their innovation and use of digital media which was enough to win them the prize for the best video advert. A fantastic achievement for the youngest team to make the regional finals. Headmaster, Mr William Brierly commented: “We are extremely proud that our Claremont Fan Court pupils were the only non-sixth form team to progress to the SE England finals. The passion and determination they have shown throughout the year to work as a team and to champion a concept they deeply care about has been an example to us all.”
