Berkhamsted School preparing for a Royal Visit

The Year 2016 is a momentous one for Berkhamsted School as we celebrate 475 years since the school was founded in 1541.

The Year 2016 is a momentous one for Berkhamsted School as we celebrate 475 years since John Incent, Dean of St Paul's founded the school in 1541. To mark this milestone, Berkhamsted are looking forward to welcoming our Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Friday 6th May 2016, which will be the highlight of our celebrations. The pupils are excitedly preparing for what is set to be an unforgettable day. Berkhamsted Pre-Prep have shown their creative talents with each pupil decorating commemorative plates for the visit of Her Majesty. Heatherton House created a wonderful photo to send to the Queen to commemorate her 90th birthday.  In addition as the Prep School eagerly awaits our patron's arrival, time has been spent learning about Queen Elizabeth's family and working hard on their Royal projects. Berkhamsted Boys, Girls and Sixth are looking forward to presenting their historic School to Her Majesty.
