The Kingswood House players, under the skilful direction of Phillipa Watkins, delivered a marvellous production of 'Pandemonium' (a Greek Myth-adventure) at a packed NESCOT theatre in early February. A humorous script and soulful ballads augmented the famous tale of Pandora’s Box which was colourfully set against a stunning backdrop of Ancient Greece.

Whilst the show was very much a team effort, there were several stand-out performances. In particular, William Moffatt, was menacing and marauding as Hades, God of the Underworld, whilst Arad Rezavandi combined an intelligent blend of sophisticated humour and natural stage presence in his role as Zeus. Meanwhile, Theo Spick and Guy Newton provided a mature, sophisticated portrayal of Pandora and Epimetheus respectively.

It was rewarding that all the boys stepped up to meet the demands of such an ambitious project and they are to be congratulated for their time and effort – the auditions and casting took place last June!

Much the same can also be attributed to our talented team of staff; a sincere thank you to Phillipa Watkins and all the staff helpers for the tremendous progress they have achieved with the pupils in recent months.”
